Learning Josh

It sounds like a gimmick doesn’t it…an ‘edu-blog’. After finding out a number of my friends from university are keeping an education blog for an assingment, I pondered ‘what a great idea!’ and decided to post one up. I realise that blogging is pretty much just journaling and reflecting online, but I reckon this is a better way than keeping a ‘reflective journal’ book as I can blog anywhere in the world and if somebody is interested, they can read what I am thinking and learning about.

I have decided to have an edublog so that:

- I am continually documenting what I am learning and always reflecting on the issues and important stuff that impacts my teaching, learning and the education world.

- I am challenging what I am learning and constantly discovering new and innovative things in the world of education.

- To make me realise and reflect on the important things like why exactly I chose to study teaching.

- If I decide to do that ‘computer unit’ at uni, this is considered an assignment…

But really, I hope to actually use this blog and continually use it as I begin my teaching. Will this work? I don’t know…Do I feel like a nerd?….A bit…..Will anyone bother reading it?….Maybe…..I don’t know, but I just gotta give this a go.
